Questions about this product
The age band is in the product title and the specification table. Treat it as a guide to grip and volume rather than ability — a two-year-old can hold a tambourine long before they can hold a beater properly.
Wooden percussion is quieter than plastic and much quieter than anything with a speaker. If noise is the deciding factor, the xylophone and wooden sets are the safe choice.
The xylophones are tuned to a real scale, which is the difference between an instrument and a noise toy. Percussion sets are pitched pieces plus untuned shakers and blocks.
